Q&A With Erim Kaur!

Oh Em Jeee! I got the opportunity to be able to interview the founder of ByErim AND Influencer; Erim Kaur – and can I just say, her personality is just as gorgeous as her herself! Erim has kindly answered all of my questions in the most honest way possible, so thank you for that @erim. I have purchased her ByErim hair oil and cannot wait to finally receive it and start my healthy hair journey!

Now, to the questions that you all have the answers to down below…

What’s a typical day in the life of Erim?

Erim stated she doesn’t wake up too early, simply because she is a night owl (like me lol). She usually starts her mornings by praying, then does her simple morning routine and starts her day by catching up with emails. She then goes to any meetings of the day, which are usually at her assistants houses. In the evening, Erim tends to have dinner with her friends or family. And before sleeping, she replies to her DM’s or emails. Erim says she usually sleeps by 2/3am, which I can also relate to!

How does Erim take such AMAZING pictures on the gram?

She uses the iPhone XR & her friends take her pictures for her. Erim also told me that she turns the brightness of her pictures up for better quality. I mean, if you’re not following her on Insta, what are you doing please?!

Erim being my #1 inspiration, is truly because of how positive she remains, how does she do it?

Erim believes that we should count our blessings every day as there are so many people in the world who don’t have what we have, so having gratitude is one of her top tips on remaining positive when something doesn’t go your way. She also said that she is human too, she has her ups and downs every day, but wants to show us the positive things in life and be a role model in that sense, which again, is very inspiring to me.

Are you going to consider creating any other products other than the ByErim Oil?

Erim said yes definitely, she has some ideas in mind and that it is a difficult process so it will take some time!

Unlike some other influencers, Erim gives back SO much to her fan base, so I just wanted to ask how she is so humble?!

Erim being the amazing woman she is, said that we are all she needs, not just financially! She told me that she’s doing it only for her sisterhood which resonated with me as she told me how she was also a shy girl who would usually just take pictures of others, but then realised being shy hasn’t got her anywhere, so she started being herself as she got older and now she’s an amazing influencer, with an amazing hair oil business  *inserts no nazar emoji*

Would you ever consider making a blog?

Erim actually had a blog while back which was about social media, but she didn’t have enough time to focus on it. So the answer now is no.

How do you accept the fact that some people weren’t meant to be in your life?

You cannot force someone to be friends with you or stay in your life because after all, actions speak louder than words. Erim also believes that if you’re ending things with the individual, you should end it in a positive manner as you don’t want to be remembered for something negative.

Did you go to prom, if so how did you make the most out of it?

Yes! Erim said she went to prom with her girl friends and danced the night away, she also said she had no prom date and doesn’t drink.

What’s one habit that you would want to break?

Now this one, I think almost everyone who has social media will agree on with Erim… Waking up and going on her phone! It’s so addicting, even I can’t stop myself from staying in bed for an hour scrolling away on Instagram!

What would you do differently if you started ByErim now?

Nothing! Erim believes that the entire process of the happy moments along with the mistakes she made brought her to where she is now. It gave her a whole new experience and she wouldn’t change it for the world.

What’s something that you’re proud of about yourself?

Erim being the first in her family to go to university and coming out with a first class degree is pretty impressive, so she was very proud of this (if I were her, I would definitely be super proud too)!

What is your definition of a perfect life?

To be with people she loves, in a place she loves and doing something she loves.

Would you go for a big wedding or a small intimate wedding?

Small wedding and splurge on wedding dresses – I think we’re twins because I literally want that too!

As a kid, did you know that you wanted to go into this field of work?

Nope! Erim told me at that time influencers weren’t the next ‘big thing’ so she didn’t know it was an option for her to go into. But as soon as she got into it, she loved it!

How would the people closest to you describe you?

Stressed. Brave. Fair.

And that’s all for now guys! I would like to give a huge thank you to Erim and her lovely support team for letting me get to know so much more about Erim’s lovely personality, I would love to meet her again in a couple of years! Click Here for Erim’s Youtube Channel!
